A Plus offers on-site and mobile Live Scan Fingerprinting for Illinois based customers and Card Scanning for out of State Customers.

Fingerprint Card Services FD-258 (Out of state clients only)
A Plus accepts completed FD-258 fingerprint cards by mail. To prepare your card, please visit a local provider that can capture your fingerprints in black ink or digitally on an FD-258 card. This can be any private fingerprinting business, police department, or sheriff’s office in your area. Most locations supply FD-258 cards, but if they do not, you may print the attached form and bring it with you.
After your fingerprints have been taken, simply mail the completed FD-258 card to us on provided office location along with the required service fee as per the instructions mentioned in below attached form. Ensure that the prints are clear, the information fields are fully completed, and the card remains clean and undamaged to avoid any processing delays.

A Plus utilizes advanced scanning technology to convert traditional FD-258 (“hard card”) fingerprint cards and Live Scan captures into electronic fingerprint records. We offer both in-office and mobile services by appointment, during which we will take your Live Scan fingerprints and complete all necessary forms. The fee for Live Scan fingerprinting ranges from $75 to $125, plus a mobile service fee when applicable. Notary services and photos can also be provided during your appointment if needed.
Note: We do not issue refunds under any circumstances once the Live Scan or Card Scan has been submitted. Please contact our office at 800-601-4238 for any clarification or verification.
