The Online Basic Pistol Certification is a PRE-REQUISITE to Concealed Carry Course and IL Armed Security Guard Training:

• What to do before, during, and after a defensive shooting encounter

The Online Basic Pistol Shooting course is the best way for you to learn the basics of pistol shooting from the top firearms training organization in the world! The course is the first step for you to obtain the proper certification for your Armed Security Training or concealed carry permit in some states. Be sure to contact your county, city, or state to find out whether this course fulfills the requirement.

You can finish the self-paced online class at your own convenience. After completing the online course and earning your NRA Basic Pistol certificate (8-hour Credit), you’ll be scheduled for an in-person proficiency demonstration (8-hour Classroom) with an instructor. Once you’ve successfully finished both the online training and the proficiency evaluation, you’ll receive your 16-hour CCW training certificate.
